In this new year, let’s refuse to be a procrastinator! This is a person who puts off tasks and responsibilities which is a self- defeating behavior that could have a negative impact on their well-being. I don’t won’t to be guilty of this pattern. Faith is now! Jesus did not hesitate in His purpose. As believers, we can be quick to hear and to obey the voice of the Holy Spirit. Recently, I heard a doctor say if you’ll wake up every morning and repeat, “Do It Now!” to yourself 10 times, you will develop an urgency in your subconscious. This urgency will create success in your life. Don’t fall into the temptation to put it off until tomorrow when you can become a success today!

The Lord spoke to me about this new year saying, “This year will require an attitude of faith!” I understood that to mean I must be enthusiastic and expecting the best victories this year! Posture yourself this year as a winner not a whiner. The right attitude will pull you into the arena of faith where we are expecting the most positive outcome. We are over-comers in Christ Jesus! The Bible tells us, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” I John 4:4 NKJV Greater than any challenge, greater than any devil coming against you, is He who is in you! You are more than a conqueror this year, keep your attitude of faith and expect to win!

Why should we worry? We should not worry if we are trusting God. Read this verse, “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” 1 Peter 5:7 We see this verse is telling us to give everything that would cause us anxiety or concern to the Lord Jesus. Not to be distracted by the cares of life. Such worry is unnecessary, because the Father’s love provides for both our daily needs and our special needs. Especially in this season of great joy, let’s lay down our cares and not allow anxiety to steal the peace in our mind and heart!

How To Squash the Grinch Within

Jesus provided a full redemption plan. Imagine a table set before you, including bowls of blessings, heaping dishes of healing and finances. Whatever you need, it’s on the table. There’s great news, God never is removes them off the table! Happy Thanksgiving!

The kingdom of God is a spiritual reality and dynamic available to each person who receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Full salvation brings restored relationship to God and full potential for God’s kingdom ruling “within us” as we walk with Him. God sent the Holy Spirit to cause the anointing that raised Jesus from the dead to be transmitted to us! Only on these terms can a person say, “The kingdom of God is within me.” Frist, believe you have forgiveness of sins. Second, know you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus. By this, you will experience the transformation from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of the Son of His love!

For Our God is a consuming fire! Jesus desires to purify us and burn away all evil, useless, and worthless parts out of our hearts. So, we can burn completely for God’s purpose on our lives. According to God’s Word, “That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination].” 2 Timothy 1:6 AMPC Paul is telling Timothy to stir up the flame of God! Never allow fear to extinguish your flame. “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7 AMPC Today be encouraged to stir up the gifts of God and never allow fear to put out your fire!

My son Lake recently received a new phone. It was not simple to swipe the old phone clean of all its data in order for us to mail it in for the trade-in value. Lake thought he’d hit reset, and it would be clean. I noticed his screensaver was still on there. I handed it back to him and said, “No, it’s not swiped clean.” It took three tries to get the phone reset even with the SIM card removed, it was still remembering the old settings. Finally, he found the factory reset option. Immediately, the Holy Spirit started talking to me about how most believers need a “Heavenly Reset!” We could truly see answers to our prayers if we would not limit our faith with past experiences. The challenge today is to simple believe God at His Word without any old information trying to steal your promise.

I was recently asked, “Who is healing for?” The simplest answer is, “Whoever believes!” God’s word is His will, therefore we know He wants you healed. How will the enemy, the devil, keep you from receiving what Jesus paid for on the cross? There are two areas, I’m talking about today. First, the enemy will try to steal your identity in Christ. If you receive the revelation of your righteousness through Christ Jesus, you’re unstoppable! Secondly, guard your heart because the enemy desires to get you offended! Look at this verse, “A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.” Proverbs 17:22 Today, receive your healing by simply believing you are in Christ and stay free from offense.

Have you ever felt all alone and in trouble? There’s good news if you’re in that place. You have a helper, who isn’t afraid of your mess. The Bible tells us the Holy Spirit will be a helper to us and bring comfort. The Holy Spirit will get down in the ditch with you and instruct you on how to get out. He has the answers you need. You are not stuck in defeat, He knows the way to victory. Look at this verse, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” John 16:13 NKJV Cry out for help today and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth!

When doubt comes knocking, we must allow our faith to answer the door. Many people will doubt their beliefs when trouble comes, but we need to doubt the doubts and believe and our beliefs. As simple as that sounds, is it essential to the victory! Faith can’t exist with doubt. If you’re believing God for His promises in your life, you must put doubt out. Doubt comes from the enemy to waist your time, pulling you farther from the promise, so you’ll get frustrated and give up. Jesus had to put the doubt out when He went to Jairus’ house to raise his daughter from the dead. In order to operate by faith, Jesus put out everyone who was crying in doubt. By faith, Jesus said, “Arise!” She was brought back to life again! If Jesus had to put out the doubt, you will too! Let’s doubt the doubt and put our confidence in God’s word!!

When the devil comes to pick a fight, fight like Jesus did. There is nothing the devil can do with the word of God. The devil came to tempt Jesus in the wilderness three different times. Jesus responded to the devil’s traps with, “It is written!” We are not battling for victory or in a struggle to win, we have given the right to trend over the enemy. The devil has already been defeated by Jesus through His death, burial, and, resurrection. When you quote God’s word to the devil, it stops his attack and reminds him where his place is; not in you or on you, but under you! The devil’s place is under your feet. Take your victory over the devil today by using the Word of God!
